What it looks at

Flesch Reading Ease

A 0-100 score derived from average sentence length and syllables per word; higher means easier reading, and roughly 60-70 suits a general web audience.

Grade level

The approximate US school grade a reader needs to understand the text; a lower grade widens the audience you can reach.

Long-sentence flags

Sentences over a length threshold that strain comprehension and are harder for AI to extract as a clean, quotable passage.

Average sentence length

Words per sentence; shorter sentences raise the ease score and make the page easier to skim.

Syllables per word

A proxy for word complexity; multi-syllable jargon lowers the score and hurts readability.

Language mode (EN/RU)

The formula is tuned per language, so scoring the text in its actual language returns an accurate reading.

How to use it
